Therapy

Therapy

Person-centred counselling and psychotherapy. A space to explore what is happening for you, at your own pace and without judgement.

SIGNAL

Things people bring

You don't need to fit neatly into a category. People come to therapy for all sorts of reasons, sometimes with a clear idea of what they want to explore and sometimes simply knowing that something doesn't feel right.

Anxiety

Worry, overthinking or a sense of dread that can become difficult to switch off or make sense of.

Trauma

Experiences from the past can continue to affect how you feel, relate and respond long after the event itself has passed.

Addiction

A space to understand your relationship with a behaviour or substance, what may sit underneath it, and the role it has come to play in your life.

Neurodivergence

Therapy that works with how you think, communicate and experience the world, rather than expecting you to fit someone else's idea of how you should be.

Identity & relationships

Exploring who you are, how you experience yourself, and how you relate to the people around you.

Loss & change

Bereavement, endings and changes in life can affect us in very different ways. Therapy can offer somewhere to make sense of what has changed and what that means for you.

The approach

My approach is person-centred, which means we begin with you and your experience rather than a predetermined idea of what therapy should look like.

You won't be expected to arrive knowing exactly what you want to talk about, and there isn't a programme you need to follow. Some sessions may focus on something happening now, while others may take us towards experiences from the past or patterns that have become clearer over time.

We work with whatever feels important to you, at a pace that feels manageable.
